OK I want my Vista laptop. I know I haven't been very good about keeping this current but golly I want a taste. I'll write interesting haiku. I'll tell about loading it with visual web developer express and what I think about the new interface. C'mon Microsoft, I wrote nice things about lightscribe... how bout it... give me the chance to write nice things about Vista.

Right. I'm a tad annoyed. I just went to vote in Portland, ME and the place that I vote didn't have a highly visible vote here sign in front of it. Highly visible means I could see it with nice park here to vote signs. Let me tell you that is not what I need first thing in the morning before coffee. I want to drive down and see that the voting place hasn't changed. They tend to change locations every couple of years. What's up with that.
On that note, I didn't update the voting page on my skartdesigns.com so some of those places are out of date fortunately there is a link to a form that will allow people to confirm their voting place and precinct based on their address.

stone chair hurts my butt
standing hurts more than the chair
the chair is not stone
the chair is not stone
it sure does feel like it though
whiny whiny me
Whiny whiny me
I have a job that pays bills
yet not satisfied
I want more but what
the family is healthy
Still want more than that
Still want more that
If you don't know what you want
You do not want it

embarrassing things
OK I just read Colleen Stone's blog this particular entry talked about embarrassing things she's done. It brought back a memory from college.
I was walking through the student union and I noticed a friend of mine sitting talking to some other friends of mine. Because I do this sometimes, I walked over and kissed her on the back of the neck, then on the back of the head, then on the crown of her head, and then I leaned over and gently kissed her on the nose.
Then I said to her, "you're not the person I thought you were." I'd never seen her before in my life.
Turns out I wasn't the person she thought I was either.
After they stopped laughing my friends introduced us. We both enjoyed playing spades, had similar tastes in friends and thought the incident was rather amusing. So it worked out.

I've been working for MESDA lately. It's a good gig. I don't get to put my card in the fish bowl for prizes at the NETpm's but other than that things are copasetic.
I just put the MESDA library online at LibraryThing.com. You can see the books on hand for members at http://www.librarything.com/catalog/MESDA The LibraryThing is worth checking out so go do it.
