Went to see the Fenix Theater Company's rendition of Taming of the Shrew last night in Deering Oaks Park. Taming of the Shrew is one of my favorite Shakespearean plays and I was a bit concerned that it might not be the same as the Burton/Taylor version I had seen when I was much younger. It wasn't. Not better, not worse as they say just different. And what a marvelous difference it was.

The nvidia graphics card that came with my computer keeps getting an update. That update keeps causing my monitor to blink. So much that I can't work. I have to power off the computer and restart it in safe mode. Then I go into device manager and uninstall the card. Restart, windows finds it reinstalls the driver, restarts, and I'm good to go. I just read of a proposal by Bush for a huge bailout fund for failing banks that own bad mortgages. OK so my favorite watch is made by Aquatech. It's cheap, 6 or 7 bucks at Walmart, and lasts a fair amount of time I usually get a new one when my son has hit it with a hammer, he likes to do that sort of thing. Been doing a betatest for Lightscribe. It's a cool piece of equipment that burns the label right onto a laser sensitive coating on the disk. Burn the data flip the disk and burn the label it's pretty neat.

been listening to the first few disks of the grateful dead beyond description on Windows Media Player They are really tasty. So I went to the Holy Eucharist service at my church, Trinity Episcopal, in Portland today. It's not well attended in the middle of the week so they hold it in the chapel off the sanctuary.
